During our ¡Rise to the Top! workshop we often remind participants—no one gets to the top alone! If you are feeling stuck in your career, seek support and guidance. A great place to start is to create your own LatinaVIDA Circle to get involved with peer support and mentoring opportunities. When you feel there’s more growth needed, its best to retain a personal career coach to receive individualized and tailored support for your needs.
Some of the reasons to use a coach include: how to advance to the next level in your career, how to manage your boss, how to successfully overcome impostor syndrome, or how to improve communication skills. LatinaVIDA has initiated a search for Latina coaches who understand and embrace the key values and mission of LatinaVIDA. Each of our coaches has a breadth of work experience, knowledge, education, leadership training and life experiences to coach you on how to navigate your career—and to celebrate your Latinidad! We want to connect you with a coach that is especially dedicated to set you up for success, give you more self-confidence, unlock your potential, and equip you with tools and resources to clarify career goals and put strategic plans together to achieve them.
Success begins with identifying the right coach. Chemistry is so very important and cannot be underestimated. For that reason, our coaches offer a one hour complimentary consultation. Beginning in Summer 2019 we will be introducing you to a select number of Executive Coaches who are familiar with the goals of LatinaVIDA. If you should need more guidance on finding and working with a coach please reach out to Tammy Ramos, JD, our Director of Coaching Programs.
