Early in her career, Mercedes was a Staff Development Officer in the USAF, her passion for coaching stems from what she learned there. She was co-founder and CEO of InPartnership Consulting, specializing in business strategy, leadership development, and global diversity. She worked as Talent Development and Organizational Change consultant and Executive Coach at Ernst & Young (EY) and was also EVP Business Transformation and Innovation at Ashton 212 consultant firm.
A pioneer in global leadership and diversity, Mercedes has developed high performing teams of Fortune 50 companies with measurable impact: PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, Shell Oil, and Kellogg’s to name a few. She has worked in Africa, Britain, Central America, Europe, North and South America developing and designing learning labs that catapulted participants into taking purposeful action.

Her experience includes consulting, facilitating, and coaching internal leaders across the Americas to align market and talent strategies by building high performing global teams, including global leaders brought together via mergers and acquisitions.
