Stacy M. Estrada, MBA, MA

Director of Corporate Sponsorships; LatinaVIDA Coach and Facilitator

Stacy M. Estrada, MBA, MA is a Leadership Coach for high school and college women who are going through transitional phases of early adult life. She specializes in helping young women develop their self-confidence as they evolve into the next level of their educational and professional trajectories.

Born and raised in an area of southern California considered “disadvantaged,” Stacy learned the importance of building resilience and self-confidence as key traits for overcoming obstacles. Today, Stacy studies the theory of self-efficacy in Latina women. Why do we do what we do? And how do we make the mental shift from, “I want to” to “I can”.

With over 6 years of training and experience in leadership development, Stacy’s specialty is working with young women who come from disadvantaged communities in order to help increase their self-confidence and recognize their own self-inflicted barriers.

Resilience, delegation, communication skills, and emotional intelligence are amongst the top skills needed in order to be excellent leaders in today’s globalized world. Stacy’s goal is to help you recognize your unique strengths and begin building these skills into marketable traits.

Currently, Stacy serves as a core team member for the LatinaVIDA organization, and volunteers as a mini-podcaster which focuses on career tips for Latinas. In addition to her passion of working with Latinas, Stacy also writes children’s books and is currently working on a series titled “Global Friends for Peace”. In her books, Stacy’s goal is to create visibility for children who are not typically found in children’s story books and teach tolerance at an early age.

Stacy holds a B.A. in International Relations from U.C. Santa Barbara, an M.B.A. with a focus on Management from Concordia University, and a M.A. with a focus on Peace Education studies from the University for Peace. Stacy is currently a doctoral candidate at the Universidad para La Paz, conducting her research on first-generation Latina’s perception of leadership.
